We have recalibrated the way we are doing church, and instead of monthly men's/women's meetings, we will be getting out into the community for various activities designed to create opportunities to fellowship with one another and bring along unchurched family and friends to introduce them to our church family. For our January event we will be attending a UAA hockey game together Friday, January 17th at 7 PM. Tickets will be available for sale at UAA 1/16/2020. We'll meet 20 minutes prior to start time at the front doors. Call 349-0255 for more info

Real Joy Teens helps Teens navigate the growing up years, providing love and support for our youth as they transition into adulthood. Using lessons that are relevant to their culture our teen leadership seeks to help Teens know God and make Him known, and hold fast to their faith as they come into their own. The Teens also have plenty of opportunities to expand their vision beyond themselves as they serve others. You can see what's up with the Teens when you Like us on Facebook.

We are in the process of recalibrating our ministry to adults. In order to better minister to our adult population we will be changing from a weekly Bible study at the church building to home groups. There will be no adult Bible study offered at the church building. The eastside location will be held at the Bialik's, the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening of each month from 7-8 PM. The westside location will be held at the Fields', the 1st and 3rd Sunday evening of the month from 6-8 PM. The base group will meet at the Burnett's home. time and dates TBA. The eastside location will have lessons for the kids as well as adults. The westside location is an adult Bible study. The groups will be going through a Christmas Bible study the first two weeks of December. There will be a month long break from mid-December to mid-January. The groups will resume meeting January 12th at 7 PM at the eastside location. Call 349-0255 for directions. We will be working through the series "Cold Case Christianity"
We've added another community outreach aspect to our ministry. Once a month we choose a different group to be a blessing to. Last month we proviced cookies and cocoa to teachers at some local elementary schools. Our focus for January is collecting socks, hats, gloves, and scarves for the Anchorage Rescue Mission. If you would like to be a part you can drop your donation off at 4335 Laurel Street Sunday mornings or call 349-0255 to set up a drop off time.
